Retail store technology setup

Complete low-voltage installations for retail environments — from new store openings to remodels and refreshes.

Your Store Opens on Time. With Every System Working on Day One.

New location or full remodel — we handle the complete tech buildout so you don't open with half-working systems, last-minute scrambles, or vendors pointing fingers at each other.

// The Problem

Opening a New Location Is Stressful Enough Without Tech Surprises.

Most retail tech failures happen not because the equipment is bad — but because nobody planned the full installation as a single coordinated project. Every vendor works in their own silo, and you end up paying for it on opening day.

Tech not ready on opening day

WiFi isn't configured, cameras aren't recording, POS won't connect — and the store opens anyway.

Too many vendors, no coordination

Internet provider, camera company, AV installer — all working separately with nobody overseeing the full picture.

Costs that keep climbing

Unplanned return visits, rushed fixes, and emergency installs after opening — all on your dime.

Remodel chaos with no tech plan

Walls close up before cables are run. Cameras get placed wrong. Everything costs twice as much to fix after the fact.

Real Cost of a Delayed Opening

A Delayed Opening Isn't Just Frustrating. It Has a Real Dollar Cost.

Every day a location doesn't open is rent, payroll, and inventory sitting idle. Every tech problem on opening week creates a first impression you can't undo with staff, customers, and your own team.

Getting the tech right from the start — planned, coordinated, and installed properly — is the difference between an opening you're proud of and one you're recovering from.

Day 1

handling every system — no finger-pointing

Zero

// The Solution

One Team. Every Tech System Your Store Needs.

We manage the full low-voltage technology buildout — so you have one point of contact for everything instead of juggling five vendors.

Retail store tech infrastructure

Network & WiFi infrastructure

Full wireless coverage from day one — for POS systems, inventory devices, staff tablets, and customer WiFi on separate networks.

Security camera system (CCTV)

Cameras positioned for complete coverage — entrance, registers, stockroom, and parking — installed and tested before you open.

Background music & paging

In-store audio and staff communication systems that set the right atmosphere and keep your team connected on the floor.

POS & device connectivity

Every register, tablet, printer, and scanner connected and tested — so your team can start selling from the moment doors open.

Structured cabling & conduit

All cabling run cleanly and labeled correctly — whether during construction or in an existing space.

// What Clients Say

Stores That Opened Without a Single Tech Problem

"We had a hard opening date and zero room for delays. Field Tech came in, coordinated with our contractor, and had every single system running the day before we opened. I didn't have to think about tech once."

— Brenda Burgos

Retail Store Owner, Houston

"Our remodel was a nightmare with other vendors. When we brought Field Tech in they took over the full tech side, ran all the cabling properly, and our team had a single point of contact."

— Elias Buscatti

Store Manager, Dallas

// How It Works

From First Call to Grand Opening — Here's the Process

Week 1

Site walkthrough & scope

We visit the space, review your floor plan, coordinate with your contractor if needed, and give you a complete scope of work with a fixed price — no surprises.

During build

Rough-in & cabling

We run all conduit and low-voltage cabling during construction — before walls close. This is the right time to do it and it saves significant cost and rework later.

Final phase

Equipment installation & configuration

Access points, cameras, speakers, and all devices installed, configured, and fully tested. Every system goes live before your opening date.

Opening day

Handoff & support

We walk your team through every system and stay available for any questions. And if anything needs adjustment after opening, we respond fast.

// Questions

What People Ask Before Booking

Can you work alongside our general contractor?
Yes — and we prefer it. Getting us involved early in the construction phase means we can run cabling before walls close, which saves time and money. We coordinate directly with your GC so you don't have to manage us separately.
What if we already have some equipment purchased?
We can work with equipment you've already bought. We'll assess it, let you know if anything won't meet your needs, and integrate it into the full installation plan.
Do you handle multi-location rollouts?
Yes. We work with retailers opening multiple locations and can standardize the tech buildout across all sites — same setup, same quality, every time. This makes training and troubleshooting much simpler down the road.
How far in advance should we bring you in?
The earlier the better. Ideally before construction starts so we can plan cable runs properly. That said, we can work with tight timelines — just call as soon as you know your opening date.
What happens after the store opens?
We offer ongoing maintenance and support plans for stores that want priority response and regular system checks. We also handle any expansions or upgrades as your business grows.
